Gods of the Plague

In a Europe devastated by war and chaos, a group of characters embarks on a dark and surreal journey through reality and madness. It all begins when a young idealist, weary of the violence surrounding him, decides to escape his village and venture into a world where morality seems to have vanished. Along the way, he encounters a series of eccentric figures: an artist obsessed with death, a mysterious woman who appears to know the deepest secrets of the human soul, and a former soldier grappling with his own demons.

As his journey unfolds, each encounter leads the protagonist to reflect on the nature of life and death, engaging in existential conversations that challenge his perception of reality. However, the dark and oppressive atmosphere offers him no respite. The plague, both literal and metaphorical, lurks in every corner, symbolizing the decay of society and the loss of hope.

With cinematography that captures desolation and a script that blends the poetic with the disturbing, the young man's journey becomes a quest for redemption amidst shadows and ruins. As the story unfolds, the viewer is taken through a psychological labyrinth that mirrors each character's internal struggles, challenging the search for meaning in a world that seems to have lost its way. In the end, the question remains: is there light at the end of the tunnel, or only more darkness?
