Drew and Erin are two young people who meet on a fun night in New York City. She is about to return to her hometown in San Francisco, and although the time they spend together is short, the chemistry between them is undeniable. They decide to attempt a long-distance relationship, something that sounds easier than it really is. While Erin adjusts to her new job and Drew struggles to find stability in his professional life, they both face the challenges of distance and displacement.

Video calls, text messages, and short trips become their new reality. However, as they confront the pressures of their respective worlds, the uncertainty about their future together begins to weigh on the relationship. Drew realizes that it's not easy to see Erin only once in a while, and Erin feels caught between the expectations of her new career and the desire to be with her love.

The support of friends, the temptations of new relationships, and the longing for a more harmonious life make the couple reconsider what they truly want. The movie follows their journey filled with laughter and tears, showing us that sometimes true love can be complicated, especially when life’s paths seem to lead in opposite directions. In the end, they must decide if the connection they have is strong enough to survive the distance.
