In a small town in the United States, the lives of the inhabitants change radically when a group of soldiers returns home after World War II. Among them is a young man who has been on the front lines and struggles to adapt to civilian life. As he reconnects with his family and friends, he faces traumatic memories of the war that haunt him as much as his hopes for a normal future.

As he tries to reintegrate, he discovers that relationships have changed: his best friend has found love, and his mother is desperate to regain the family connection they once had. The film follows his emotional journey as he attempts to reconcile his traumatic experiences with the everyday life of his home. It portrays the internal struggle this soldier faces as he must find the strength to confront both his wounded memories and his feelings of isolation.

Along his path, he crosses paths with other veterans who are also dealing with their own return. Through moments of melancholy and personal rediscovery, a story of hope and redemption unfolds. With a narrative that captures the essence of what it means to come back home, the protagonists will learn that although the war has changed them, love and friendship can be the breath they need to move forward. With a poignant backdrop and evocative cinematography, this work pays tribute to veterans and what it truly means to find the way back.
