In a small town, a humble watchmaker one day is touched by fortune when, suddenly, he acquires the incredible ability to turn everything he touches into gold. At first, his life seems to transform overnight, enjoying luxuries and the admiration of his community. However, he soon realizes that his gift, which at first glance seems like a blessing, becomes a nightmare as everyone around him begins to covet his power.

As his wealth grows, so does the loneliness he feels. People see him only as a source of gold, forgetting the human essence he has always possessed. Desperate to regain some of the normalcy he once knew, he tests his ability in an attempt to reverse the effect, but can hardly touch his beloved, who instantly turns into a horrifying statue of gold. This tragic twist leads him on a desperate quest for redemption as he confronts the immorality that his wealth has unleashed.

With the help of a wise old man, the watchmaker begins to understand that material riches are not the key to happiness. The story is an emotional journey that explores how unchecked desire can lead to the loss of what truly matters, reminding us that sometimes true wealth lies in human connections and sincere love. Thus, the watchmaker embarks on a path towards self-understanding and sacrifice, seeking meaning amid the chaos of his new reality.
