Hands over the City

In an Italian city witnessing a boom in industry and urbanization, corruption and unchecked ambition set the rhythm of political and social life. The mayor, an ambitious politician, is determined to carry out a major construction project that promises to transform the urban landscape, but beneath this facade lies a shadowy network of interests and manipulations. The story thickens when a tragic collapse during construction triggers a wave of outrage and reveals deep irregularities in the management of the town.

An honest and tenacious prosecutor becomes the face of resistance. As he begins to investigate the disaster, he uncovers a series of corrupt agreements between the government, builders, and the local mafia. Tension mounts as the true interests behind the project start to emerge, revealing illicit practices that have been harming citizens for years.

As the powerful attempt to unite to silence those seeking the truth, the prosecutor faces threats and pressures that jeopardize not only his career but also his life. In this hostile environment, the struggle for justice becomes a heroic act, where idealism clashes with the harsh reality of a system that prioritizes personal gain over collective well-being. The climax explodes in a final confrontation that tests the limits of morality and integrity in a society where corruption has become the norm.
