A World War II veteran shows clear signs of emotional instability after returning home. The story begins when he wakes up in a hospital room, unable to remember how he got there, surrounded by evidence suggesting a dark secret: he has been accused of murder. The plot delves into his struggle to uncover the truth about that fateful night when his wife was killed. With his mind clouded by trauma and confusion, he finds himself trapped in a labyrinth of suspicions and fragmented memories.

As he tries to clear his name, the protagonist immerses himself in an intense search for the truth that will force him to confront his own demons and the ghosts of his past. Through unsettling flashbacks, the complexity of his relationship with his wife is revealed, hinting that the couple's problems were not merely superficial. To complicate matters further, an astute detective begins to unearth mysteries that could change the course of the investigation.

As the pieces of the puzzle come together, the tension escalates, and the viewer is immersed in a climate of psychological suspense that keeps interest alive until the very last moment. What initially appears to be a simple homicide case transforms into a profound analysis of the human mind, love, and the fragility of trust, leading the protagonist to a surprising conclusion he never saw coming.
