In a Viking village where dragons are considered deadly enemies, young Hiccup, a clumsy and unconventional gadget designer, dreams of being a fierce warrior like his father, the village chief, Stoick. However, instead of attacking the dragons, Hiccup feels fascinated by them. After a series of unexpected events, Hiccup encounters an injured dragon he names Toothless. Despite his village's teachings to fear and hunt these creatures, Hiccup decides to care for and train Toothless in secret.

As their friendship grows, Hiccup discovers that, instead of being fierce beasts, dragons have unique personalities and a gentle side. With this new perspective, Hiccup begins to challenge the traditions of his village and aims to change the way Vikings view dragons. However, this is not easy, as he must face resistance from other Vikings who still see dragons as enemies.

The story unfolds in an exciting journey of self-discovery, friendship, and courage, where Hiccup not only fights to prove his worth but also seeks to unite dragons and Vikings in a surprising coexistence. The friendship between Hiccup and Toothless becomes the catalyst that will change their world forever.
