In a prehistoric world where glaciers are beginning to melt, our beloved mammoth friends, Manny and Ellie, are expecting their first child. Excited about the new adventure of becoming parents, Manny worries about everything that might happen to the baby, while Sid, the comic relief of the group, searches for the perfect place to build a crib. But when Sid decides to “steal” some dinosaur eggs to make them his own, things get complicated.
The dinosaurs don’t take it well, and in a twist of events that one can already imagine, Sid ends up getting captured and taken to an underground world filled with prehistoric creatures and, of course, dinosaurs. Manny, Ellie, and Diego can’t let their friend suffer alone, so they embark on an exciting and dangerous adventure to rescue Sid. As they delve into this new ecosystem, they encounter a series of unique characters, like the charismatic and somewhat eccentric weasel, Buck, who becomes their ally in this odyssey.
