I'm for the Hippopotamus

In a lush and vibrant landscape, an ambitious hippo hunter arrives at a remote village in Africa, where his goal is to hunt these impressive animals. However, his mission is disrupted by the intervention of a group of natives who worship hippos and are determined to protect these magnificent creatures. The tension between tradition and progress becomes evident when the hunter, representing Western consumerism, faces a value system that is very different from his own.

As the story unfolds, the hunter forms a curious bond with a young native woman who acts as his guide and translator, revealing to him the true value of wildlife and the importance of preservation. With a comedic approach full of absurd situations, the hunter finds himself caught in a whirlwind of unexpected events: from hilarious encounters with local wildlife to a confrontation with a group of environmentalists looking to stop his hunt.

Through twists and turns, the film weaves a critique of the exploitation of nature while immersing the viewer in the cultural richness of the area. In the end, the hunter must decide between his ambition and respect for the life around him, offering us a message about the true connection between humanity and the natural world. A perfect blend of laughter, action, and a lesson you won’t forget!
