Deep in the California desert, a man wakes up, alone and injured, with no memory of how he got there. His memory is a blank slate, but he soon discovers that he is trapped in a burning nightmare. As he struggles to survive in the overwhelming heat, he encounters a couple living on a nearby ranch. The woman, beautiful yet enigmatic, and her husband, a man of volatile temperament, find themselves caught in an emotional triangle where love and hatred intertwine.

As the days go by, the protagonist tries to rebuild his life while also discovering who he truly is. But the conflict between the couple soon turns into a dangerous game that he unexpectedly becomes embroiled in. Dark secrets and sordid jealousy emerge as tension rises, creating an atmosphere thick with despair and betrayal. The man becomes the catalyst for a series of explosive events that culminate in an inevitable conclusion.

Meanwhile, the desert acts as a character in its own right, showcasing its haunting beauty and hostility, feeding the madness and inner conflict of the characters. As relationships crumble and survival becomes increasingly precarious, the story explores themes such as identity, guilt, and despair in an environment where the sun's heat is not the only lurking danger. All leads to a climax that reveals hidden truths and transforms each person's life forever.
