In this moving yet funny story, we follow the life of Philippe, a wealthy aristocrat who became paraplegic after a parachute accident. Despite his immense fortune, he feels trapped in a world of solitude and routine. Everything changes when he decides to hire a caregiver, and Driss, a young man from the suburbs who has just come out of prison, appears. Driss has a carefree attitude towards life and, at first, is just a stranger looking for a job to pass the time and continue receiving his unemployment benefits.
As the relationship between them progresses, their differences in class and life experiences become a source of humor and lessons. Driss injects new energy into Philippe's life; he pushes him out of his comfort zone, motivates him to enjoy the little things, and encourages him to face his situation in ways he had never considered before. Together, they form an unlikely friendship that transcends their personal and social barriers.
In this journey filled with laughter and tender moments, we discover how human connection can be a powerful catalyst for change, conveying a message of hope and resilience. The film serves as a beautiful reminder that, regardless of life's circumstances, we all need a little will to live and, sometimes, an unexpected friend to help us remember it.
