In this charming 1930s comedy, we follow the misadventures of an eccentric and somewhat dreamy family man named Harold Bissonette. Harold, a fruit merchant, finds himself trapped in the daily grind of his business and the chaos of his family life. His home is filled with vibrant characters: his wife, who aspires to keep everything in order; two children who seem to have their own world of mischief; and a mother who is always aware of everything happening around her.

One fine day, Harold decides it's time for a change and seeks different ways to escape the monotony. In his quest for happiness, he encounters a colorful group of characters, each with quirks that only complicate his life further. From a mysterious customer who seems to have an unconventional interest in his goods, to a group of neighbors who are constantly vying for the shop owner's attention, Harold faces unexpected challenges.

The film is a blend of hilarity and tenderness, where absurd situations and comedic interactions between characters intertwine brilliantly. As things spiral out of control, Harold begins to understand that, despite how chaotic his world may be, love and humor are what truly give meaning to his life. Ultimately, it’s about cherishing those little moments that make us laugh, even amidst the unruly chaos of everyday life.
