In the context of World War II, a young and determined woman named Joan joins the army nurse corps. Despite her initial reluctance, Joan feels called to serve and help those in need, but she soon discovers that life on the battlefield is much harsher than she expected. As she adjusts to the rigorous discipline and demands of the nursing role, she develops a unique bond with her fellow nurses, who come from diverse backgrounds and face their own challenges.

Amid the daily experiences, Joan finds herself drawn to a charismatic pilot who makes her question her priorities. However, her feelings become complicated by the constant dangers they face in the battlefield. As tensions rise, Joan and her group of nurses must find the strength to endure sadness and loss, as well as the resilience to move forward. Friendship and camaraderie become their greatest support, but the war tests their convictions and emotions.

With an emotional backdrop, this story reveals the bravery of women who served in traditionally male roles and highlights their impact on the lives of soldiers. Through laughter and tears, it celebrates the strength of the human spirit to confront the unimaginable.
