In a Californian suburb, a group of teenagers faces the harsh reality of their lives as they deal with family problems, complicated relationships, and the search for their own identity. Through their eyes, we witness a world full of disillusionment and loneliness, where social expectations collide with the harsh truth of their environments.

Among the protagonists is a young man grappling with his sexuality, a boy experimenting with violence, and a girl feeling trapped in a toxic relationship. Their intertwined stories illustrate the complexity of growing up in a place where love and acceptance seem out of reach. The film doesn't shy away from the typical superficial themes of adolescence; instead, it delves into the despair and sadness that many young people face behind closed doors.

The narrative is interwoven with shocking and raw scenes that often leave the viewer uncomfortable, yet also reflecting on life. This cinematic piece holds nothing back; it presents a controversial view of youth, where inner struggles and the search for connection are as real as they are painful. As the characters try to find their way, it becomes clear that, in this desolate world, freedom and understanding are luxuries that not everyone can afford. Through their ups and downs, they challenge themselves and confront the bitter lessons that life presents to them.
