In the turbulent landscape of Cleveland during the 1970s, an ordinary man becomes a symbol of resilience and defiance. Danny Greene, an Irish-American with an indomitable spirit, begins to climb the ranks of the city's criminal underworld. With his charisma and an incredible sense of loyalty, he earns the respect of his peers and starts to challenge the Italian syndicate that controls the local mafia.

However, Greene's ambition does not go unnoticed. As his influence grows, so do the enemies surrounding him. Facing a dangerous gang war, Greene displays a fierce determination not just to survive, but also to take control. Explosions and chaos become part of his daily routine, as every move he makes puts him in the crosshairs of both allies and adversaries. The story unfolds a continuous struggle between loyalty and betrayal, set against a backdrop of violence that seems constant in his life.

With an impressive cast including Ray Stevenson as Danny, alongside powerful performances from Christopher Walken and Val Kilmer, the film chronicles the rise and fall of a man who refuses to be overwhelmed. From the battle for criminal power to the quest for identity, his story is a stark reminder of how the American dream is often intertwined with tragedy and challenge.
