In the bustling environment of early 20th century France, a railway engineer, consumed by his inner demons, finds himself trapped in a spiral of desire and despair. Life on the tracks is harsh, and emotional wear has led him to develop a dark and disturbing homicidal instinct. His routine is interrupted when an intriguing woman, the wife of the stationmaster, enters the scene, her captivating beauty awakening in him an overwhelming passion. However, the love he feels for her is intertwined with violence, creating an explosive mix of emotions that manifest in his internal struggle.

Caught in an unsustainable love triangle, the engineer, the woman, and her husband—a powerful but manipulative man—are pushed toward an abyss of jealousy, betrayal, and madness. As tensions between them rise, a series of tragic events unfold, revealing the dark nature of humanity. The characters’ decisions lead them to an inevitable and brutal conclusion.

Set against a social backdrop that reflects the struggles of the working class, this story delves into the conflicts between primal instinct and morality. Love, death, and redemption intertwine, creating a poignant narrative that invites the audience to explore human nature in its rawest form. In the end, each character must confront the consequences of their actions and the latent monstrosity that resides within us all.
