In the context of the Mexican Revolution, an aging general of the army, weary and marginalized, travels to Hollywood to make a life as an actor. This character confronts his past and memories as he is called to portray his own story on the big screen. As he relives his days of glory and confusion, the moments of battle, the loyalty of his men, and the moral dilemmas that led him to ruin immerse him in his recollections.

Arriving at the film studios exposes him to an environment completely different from the one he knew, filled with lights and shadows, where what is real and what is acting intertwine. As his life becomes a spectacle, he also struggles to find his place in a world that has forgotten him. His relationship with a young actress adds an emotional touch to the narrative, as she represents both a new hope and a reminder of the life he left behind.

As the production progresses, moments of action from the general's past begin to emerge in his dreams, revealing his traumas and bravery. Ultimately, he is forced to confront not only his legacy but also his humanity, in a story that intertwines the glory of silent cinema with the harsh reality of a man tormented by his choices. The thin line between art and life fades away, taking the viewer on an unforgettable journey through time and memory.
