In a warm and nostalgic summer season, a group of teenagers gathers in a quiet seaside town in New England, full of dreams and hopes. Life seems perfect, with days spent at the beach, laughter, and promises of future adventures. However, the summer takes an unexpected turn when one of the boys, the charismatic yet troubled Rick, catches the attention of a young girl named Sandy, whose innocence contrasts with his tumultuous life.

The group, made up of inseparable friends, starts to face harsher realities, such as the tension in their relationships and the secrets each one keeps. As Sandy is drawn to the emotions and challenges of getting closer to Rick, her friends begin to question her loyalty and their own identities. As summer progresses, the conflict between the longing for freedom and the responsibilities of adulthood intensifies, forcing the teenagers to make decisions that will change the course of their lives.

Through moments of joy and pain, of laughter and tears, this story captures the essence of adolescence and the feeling that perhaps the last summer of childhood has to be the most memorable. Friendship is put to the test, hearts are broken, and reality imposes itself, leaving the young with the difficult task of accepting that growing up sometimes means leaving things behind.
