In the tranquil waters of the Seine, a young sailor named Jean sails his boat, becoming part of the itinerant world of river life. The routine of his life is interrupted when he meets Juliette, a beautiful and dreamy young woman who decides to leave her home in search of adventure. Determined to be a part of this maritime life, Juliette boards Jean’s boat, but her joy soon transforms into melancholy in the face of the realities of the working world and the challenges of love.

As they traverse the horizon, the young woman struggles to adapt to life on the water and the demands of the sea. The relationship between Jean and Juliette becomes an exciting journey filled with complications. The fresh air of romance becomes tense as jealousy and routine arise, leading Juliette to question whether she truly belongs to this world. An unexpected incident makes the young woman feel trapped; the boat turns into an emotional prison instead of being a symbol of her freedom.

With poetic cinematography and dreamlike moments, the story explores the fragility of human bonds and the search for identity. Amid the noise of daily life, the characters confront their desires and fears, leaving the viewer ensnared in an atmosphere of longing and melancholy. All of this culminates in an ending that invites reflection on the meaning of freedom and true love.
