In a festive city where hearts beat to the rhythm of waltzes and lights shine brightly, a young woman named Patricia, caught between societal expectations and her own desire for freedom, decides to turn her life around. Leap Day becomes the perfect stage for Patricia, driven by a whim, to embark on a journey toward adventure and love. However, her pursuit of happiness leads her to encounter two suitors, each from a different world.

On one hand, there’s the handsome and serious Edgar, a businessman who represents the stability and security her family has planned for her; on the other, the fun-loving and carefree Jimmy, a dreamer poet who makes her question every rule that binds her. As she wrestles between these two contrasting paths, Patricia discovers her true desires and confronts the dilemmas of love and independence.

With a captivating visual style, the film blends comedy and romance into a tale that explores the meaning of true love and the courage to follow one's heart. As Patricia navigates a series of mishaps and misunderstandings, her journey of self-discovery reminds us that sometimes, love and happiness require a little leap into the unknown. With each decision she makes, the young woman draws closer to her true self, challenging conventions and redefining what it means to be a woman in her time.
