In the vibrant city of Seattle, an ambitious journalist named Lanie Kerrigan leads an apparently perfect life, marked by her success on the television show "The New York Times" and an imminent wedding to an attractive fiancé. However, her world is shaken when a mysterious fortune teller prophesies that she has only seven days left to live. This unexpected turn forces her to question all the decisions she has made up to this point.

As she faces the looming possibility of her own death, Lanie begins to rethink her priorities and the true meaning of happiness. In an attempt to make the most of her time, she immerses herself in experiences she once considered irrelevant, from making new friendships to reconnecting with her passion for journalism. Along the way, Lanie crosses paths with a charismatic and passionate man who shows her a completely different way of life, leading her to explore her own desires and needs.

While grappling with her fears and the pressures of her career, Lanie discovers that, although predictions can be shocking, what truly matters is living in the moment and cultivating meaningful relationships. Amidst laughter, tears, and a renewed outlook on life, this story becomes a journey of self-discovery, reminding us that sometimes it is necessary to confront death in order to learn how to live fully.
