In a quiet neighborhood, a twelve-year-old girl lives in a dilapidated house with her strange father, who remains absent and is never seen by the neighbors. Rynn, the protagonist, is an intelligent and self-sufficient girl who harbors a dark secret: her father is not just absent; he has passed away. Rynn's life becomes complicated when a curious neighbor, Frank, begins to wander around her house, attempting to establish a connection with her. Although Rynn initially appears friendly, she soon realizes that Frank's intentions are more unsettling than they seem.

The atmosphere grows even more tense with the appearance of an overprotective and nosy mother who starts to pry into Rynn's affairs. While the adults try to uncover the truth behind the girl’s life, she clings to her own secrets, seeking to protect her world from unwanted intruders. With a dark and oppressive ambiance, the film reveals a blend of mystery and tension that involves themes of loneliness, vulnerability, and survival. As the story unfolds, Rynn is forced to confront the moral crossroads between truth and her desire to protect her independence, leading the viewer to an unexpected conclusion that calls into question the nature of fear and trust.
