In the bustling heart of New York City, an 11-year-old boy named Gabe finds himself at an emotional crossroads that will change his life forever. As he navigates the complicated world of elementary school, friendships, and sports, he begins to discover something entirely new: love. It all starts when he meets the charming Rosemary, a girl in his class who is everything he can’t stop thinking about.

As Gabe tries to understand his feelings, he realizes that love isn't as straightforward as movies portray it. The boy embarks on a series of funny yet awkward experiences that range from imaginary romantic scenarios to embarrassing and completely real situations. With his best friends by his side, Gabe must confront the confusion of early adolescence, including the jealousy and anxiety that arise from his crush on Rosemary.

In this journey, Gabe realizes that love, while thrilling, can also be painful. As he faces the reality of those feelings, New York City becomes the perfect backdrop, illuminating every corner of his experience. From Central Park to local shops, each adventure is a lesson that prepares him for what’s to come. A blend of comedy and tenderness, this story captures the essence of first love and the beauty of growing up, showing that sometimes, the greatest love can come in the most unexpected package.
