The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue

In a remote Italian village, tranquility is shattered when a mysterious outbreak of cannibalism begins to plague the residents. The story follows a group of friends who decide to spend a few vacation days in an ancient family mansion, unaware of the dark secrets lurking nearby. Everything seems perfect until a series of strange events start to occur: people disappear, unsettling noises are heard at night, and, worst of all, lifeless bodies are found in a state that defies all logic.

As the friends attempt to unravel the mystery, they encounter an ancient cult that has been carrying out macabre rituals to reanimate the dead, who are unwilling to rest in peace. Confused and terrified, the group must confront not only their own fears and internal tensions but also the growing threat of those who have already fallen into the clutches of death, transformed into ravenous creatures.

The film combines elements of psychological horror and gore, taking us on a chilling journey where loyalty, betrayal, and terror intertwine. As the story unfolds, the protagonists discover the dark truth about their fate, forcing them to fight not only for their lives but also for their humanity. With grim atmospheres and striking special effects, this work becomes a cult classic of 70s horror cinema.
