In Italy during the 1910s, a young and ambitious artist named Mario finds himself caught in a whirlwind of emotions and passions. Hoping to make his mark in the art world, Mario arrives in a city where opportunities are as bright as the internal struggles he faces. His life takes an unexpected turn when he falls in love with a beautiful and enigmatic woman named Lysa, who is trapped in a destructive relationship with a powerful and possessive man.

As Mario tries to win Lysa's heart, he encounters various characters that reflect the tensions between bohemianism and the bourgeoisie, including his own internal demons and the struggle to find his artistic style. The relationship between Mario and Lysa blossoms, but not without obstacles. As their love deepens, jealousy, manipulation, and betrayal are unleashed, leading to a series of events that will change their lives forever.

Set against the dazzling yet often cruel backdrop of early 20th-century Italy, the story explores themes of love, disillusionment, and the quest for identity in a world where art and passions can be both liberating and destructive. With a captivating visual narrative and a cast of memorable characters, this film draws the viewer into an emotional journey that reveals an artist's struggle to find his place in a hostile environment while clinging to his deepest dreams and desires.
