In a secluded corner of the countryside, a young woman named Martha escapes from a cult led by a charismatic and manipulative leader. After years of living in the community, where personal freedom has been altered by mind control and strict rules, Martha seeks refuge in her sister Lucy's home. However, the transition to normal life is anything but simple.

As her sister tries to help her adjust, visions and traumatic memories from her time in the cult begin to torment her. Disturbing flashbacks haunt her, forcing her to relive the experiences she endured under the group's dominance and to question her own reality. As she attempts to readjust, her inability to connect with her surroundings intensifies, jeopardizing her relationship with Lucy and her new brother-in-law, Ted.

The atmosphere becomes increasingly tense when Martha begins to suspect that the cult has not completely left her in peace. Her old beliefs and fears resurface, creating a desperate internal struggle to break free from the emotional chains that bind her to her past. The film poignantly and reflectively addresses the effects of trauma and psychological abuse, building a sense of paranoia and despair that culminates in a chilling ending, leaving the viewer questioning the nature of reality and truth.
