In a vibrant and chaotic city in the United States, a young comedian struggling to find his place in the world becomes the target of a dangerous mafia. Fleeing from a dark past and his own ghosts, he finds himself trapped in a spiral of paranoia, constantly looking over his shoulder. As he navigates the bustling streets filled with life and noise, his existence transforms into a labyrinth of absurd and existential situations, reflecting an era marked by uncertainty and unease.

With theater and comedy as a backdrop, the protagonist tries to organize his professional life, but the shadows of danger lurk around every corner. Meeting strangers who dazzle him and drag him into a series of comedic—and at times tragic—entanglements adds to the chaos of his existence. Each joke he tells seems to be imbued with a bitter and painful truth, leading him to question the true meaning of his art and his life.

Moments of comedy intertwine with an atmosphere of palpable tension, showing the thin line that separates laughter from tears. In his quest for freedom and identity, the young man must confront his own vulnerability and the harsh reality of a world from which he cannot escape his fate, all while searching for his voice on a stage where everything seems to be against him.
