In a glamorous coastal town in England, tranquility is interrupted when a movie is being filmed on location. The famous actress Marina Gregg, renowned for her lavish career and enigmatic past, arrives with a entourage of stars and a production crew that certainly does not go unnoticed. However, the excitement of the filming turns to horror when, at a welcome party, one of the guests—a young and enthusiastic fan of Marina—turns up dead after consuming a poisoned drink, unleashing chaos at the luxurious event.

The astute amateur detective, Miss Marple, is present and decides to take charge of the mystery surrounding the crime scene. As she interviews a varied cast of characters, ranging from jealous actors to a mysterious producer, Marple begins to unravel hidden secrets and old grievances. As secrets start to surface, the atmosphere grows increasingly tense, and suspicions rise. Was it an accident, or did someone plan the murder?

With her clever deductions and the keen observation that defines her, Miss Marple delves into the world of show business, where nothing is as it seems, and every smile hides a possible motive. In a conclusion full of unexpected twists, the truth behind the crime will be revealed, leaving everyone wondering how far greed and passion can go in the film industry.
