Miss Violence

The story begins in an apparently ordinary home, where a family of four members lives under the routine of everyday life. However, the atmosphere becomes unsettling when, on the birthday of one of the daughters, everyone's lives take a dark and disturbing turn. Everything seems normal until the family is shaken by an unexpected suicide that reveals the hidden tensions and concealed secrets behind the facade of normalcy.

The matriarch, a pillar of apparent strength, carries the pain of loss in a strange way, maintaining a tight control over her children. As the film progresses, the destructive dynamics that oppress each family member unfold, and the viewer begins to understand that violence manifests not only physically but also psychologically. Family gatherings reveal a series of disturbing rituals, where obedience and submission become key elements of their coexistence.

The tense and oppressive tone of the narrative leaves the viewer in a state of constant anxiety, as the secrets deepen and the decisions of each character become increasingly desperate. With an aesthetic that reinforces the anguish and a script that delves into the darkest corners of the human psyche, the film keeps the audience on the edge of their seats, challenging their understanding of family and violence in its most insidious forms.
