In a world where extraterrestrial monsters have invaded parts of Mexico, human life has changed dramatically. The story follows Andrew, an American photographer sent to the quarantine zone to rescue his boss’s daughter, Samantha. As both characters embark on a dangerous journey through a territory infested with monstrous creatures, they begin to confront not only external dangers but also the internal conflicts that arise between them.

The path to the border is tense and complicated, with the perceived threat looming constantly over them. As they traverse devastated cities and experience moments of anguish, the relationship between Andrew and Samantha evolves from a simple work bond to a deeper connection. Together, they face their fears and doubts, exploring the effects of war and devastation on their own lives and the world around them.

The film not only focuses on the monsters that terrorize humanity, but also reveals profound metaphors about love, hope, and the struggle for survival in a desolate context. As the couple navigates this alien landscape, the viewer is invited to reflect on what it truly means to be human in a world full of uncertainties and dangers. The journey becomes an emotional odyssey that transcends the superficial and reminds us that sometimes, the real monsters are closer to home than we think.
