In this romantic comedy, Alex Fletcher, a veteran pop singer from the 80s, feels trapped in a world that has forgotten him. With his career on the decline, he receives an unusual opportunity: to write and produce a song for young pop star, Cora Corman. There’s a small problem, however: Alex has no idea how to compose a song from scratch in record time.
Desperate not to let this chance slip away, he teams up with Sophie Fisher, a shy yet creative writer who finds herself at a personal crossroads after a recent breakup. At first, their styles clash. Alex is more "vintage" and carefree, while Sophie has a fresher, more modern outlook on life. However, as they work together on the song, their chemistry begins to flow, leading to a journey filled with laughter, romantic moments, and a touch of nostalgia.
As Alex tries to find his musical voice again, Sophie also faces her own dilemmas, discovering that sometimes, the deepest lyrics come from the most personal experiences. The film explores how love and creativity can intertwine, often in the most unexpected ways. Amidst rehearsals, setbacks, and of course, a series of comedic encounters, both characters are forced to confront their fears and discover what they truly desire in life and love.
