In this romantic comedy, we follow the life of Vincent LaGuardia Gambini, a mob boss who, after becoming a witness in a scandalous trial, is forced to enter the witness protection program. Thus, he finds himself living in a quiet suburb, far from the hustle and bustle of organized crime that typically surrounds his life. However, this new reality is not easy for him, as the routine of suburban life proves to be extremely boring and alienating for a man used to the adrenaline of a criminal lifestyle.
To complicate matters even further, Vincent must deal with his new FBI agent, an eccentric and enthusiastic woman named Hannah. With her overwhelming personality and desire to make everything work, she becomes the perfect foil to cynical Vincent. As he tries to adapt to his new life, Vincent also discovers love in Hannah, who begins to see beyond his tough exterior.
But with the mafia and his former allies lurking ever closer, the tension mounts. Vincent must learn to navigate his feelings for Hannah against his survival instinct. Amid hilarious mishaps and tender moments, Vincent's story reaches a crossroads where he will discover that sometimes, true home is that inexplicable place where you feel loved and safe. Will he manage to leave behind his dark past and find the happiness he so desperately longs for?
