In a convent in Mexico during the 1980s, a monk named Ignacio struggles with his vocation and dreams. Dedicated to caring for orphans, his life takes an unexpected turn when he realizes he has a secret passion: professional wrestling. Tired of his monotonous day-to-day life and wanting to make an impact on the kids he looks after, Ignacio decides to become a wrestler to earn money and improve their living conditions. Dressed in his iconic wrestling outfit, combining a tracksuit and a wrestling mask, he becomes "Nacho."
As he delves into the world of wrestling, he meets other colorful and eccentric wrestlers, including a strong and talented partner named Esqueleto, who helps him hone his skills in the ring. However, he also needs to confront his own fears, as well as the challenges of being a novice in such a competitive sport.
Things become more complicated when he falls in love with a beautiful female wrestler, adding an extra layer of difficulty to his already unusual adventures. Ignoring the warnings from his friends and mentor, Ignacio plunges into the world of professional wrestling, learning lessons about friendship, loyalty, and above all, how to find his true self. In the end, he is not only seeking victory in the ring but also a way to redeem his heart and make a difference in the lives of those who truly matter.
