In a Poland marked by oppression and the struggle for freedom, a filmmaker plunges into a profound personal and creative crisis. The story follows a director who, after the repression of the Solidarity movement, finds himself caught between the fight for his own voice and the pressures of the regime. As he confronts the limitations imposed by the system, he encounters a long-lost love, whose passion for life and art inspires him to reconsider his path. Together, they reminisce about the vibrant days of their youth, moments filled with rebellion, dreams, and aspirations, while trying to find meaning in their bleak present.

Their conversations turn into a kind of poetic dialogue about existence, love, and the value of resistance. Through these encounters, the film explores themes of disillusionment and hope, revealing how art can serve as both a refuge and a form of resistance in the face of adversity. In a context where the future seems uncertain, the characters fight not only for their relationship but also for the idea that there is always room for creation and freedom of expression. With a nostalgic and melancholic focus, the narrative reflects the essence of the human spirit and its unwavering desire to fight for what is just, while questioning whether it is ever truly possible to escape the cycles of the past.
