Okay, America!

In a United States mired in the Great Depression, a young idealist from a small town dreams of changing the world. The story begins when this character, portrayed by a charismatic lead, arrives in New York with big aspirations but quickly confronts the harsh reality of urban life. With a blend of wit and humor, he interacts with a colorful cast of characters: an ambitious reporter, a dreamer elder, and a group of disillusioned young people, each with their own stories of struggle and hope.

As he navigates the bustling streets of the city, our hero becomes involved in a plan to organize a large demonstration advocating for workers' rights. The film dives into the contrast between the starkness of daily life and the dreams for change, presenting a faithful portrait of despair but also of resilience and camaraderie. Social tensions mount as the political climate heats up, leading the characters to a crossroads that tests their friendship and principles.

With touches of comedy and drama, the plot culminates in an unexpected event that transforms the lives of the young man and those around him. In the end, the film leaves a powerful message about the importance of community, faith in the future, and the search for a common purpose, all set against a backdrop of an America in crisis.
