In this moving story set in the 1930s, we follow the lives of a group of orphaned children searching for refuge in a world full of hardships and heartbreak. The plot unfolds in a picturesque orphanage run by a sweet and caring matron, who has dedicated her life to caring for these little wounded hearts. However, the peace of their home is threatened when authorities decide that the orphanage must be closed.

Desperate to avoid separation and lose the only family they have known, the children devise a daring plan: to escape and search for a place where they can live free and happy. With the help of an elderly neighborhood shepherd, who becomes their protector, they embark on a journey through beautiful and challenging landscapes, hoping to find the home they long for.

As they face dangers and obstacles, the bonds of friendship and solidarity among them grow stronger, revealing the power of love and chosen family. Laughter and tears intertwine in this emotional adventure, as the children discover the beauty of life and the sense of belonging.

With a bittersweet tone and a profound reflection on hope and resilience, the story invites the viewer to remember the importance of never losing faith in their dreams, even when life seems to push them toward the abyss. In the end, true happiness is found not in a place, but in the connections we forge.
