In a world of glamour and disillusionment in the 1940s, a young and naive woman named María becomes the center of a tragic tale of love and heartbreak. After growing up in a tense and oppressive family, she dreams of finding her place in the world. Her life changes radically when she meets a charming yet enigmatic artist in a trendy bar. Drawn in by his charisma and talent, María becomes swept up in a passionate relationship that plunges her into a whirlwind of emotions.

However, the romance becomes complicated when María discovers that her lover harbors a dark secret: he is in a relationship with a famous movie star, a powerful and manipulative woman who will do whatever it takes to maintain her status. As the tension mounts, María finds herself caught in a game of jealousy and manipulation, culminating in a devastating emotional clash.

Through a series of unexpected twists, the story explores themes of identity, ambition, and sacrifice, revealing the darker side of the entertainment world. Despite the hardships, María finds herself and learns to fight for her dreams, challenging the expectations of the society around her. With stunning visual design and a captivating soundtrack, this film becomes a reflection on the risks of love and the pursuit of truth in a superficial world. María's struggle is a testament to the power of resilience in times of adversity.
