In a black-and-white world, an illusionist named Oscar Diggs, known as Oz, spends his days in a small circus in Kansas, where he lives off his wits and magic tricks. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when a tornado transports him to a magical and colorful land called Oz. Upon arrival, he finds himself in a land full of wonders and dangers, populated by fantastical beings and witches.

Oscar soon learns that his arrival has been prophesied, and that he could be the great wizard who will save Oz from the wicked witch Glinda and her sisters, Evanora and Theodora, who are embroiled in a fierce power struggle. Although he initially doubts his abilities and only seeks to enrich himself, the truth is that he cannot ignore the problems facing this enchanted kingdom.

With the help of new friends like a flying monkey and a sweet porcelain doll, Oscar must learn to harness his talents and overcome his fears. As he becomes more involved in the battle between good and evil, he gradually transforms into the hero everyone expected. The story combines humor, action, and lessons in personal growth, showing how true power lies in courage and friendship, as Oscar faces decisions that will change his life and the future of Oz forever.
