In a poignant story set in the 1960s, a young blind girl named Selina lives in a world limited by the shadows of her abusive mother, who isolates her from the rest of society. Selina enjoys the few moments of freedom her small space in a park provides, where she dreams of a brighter future. One day, her life takes an unexpected turn when an African American man whose life is completely different from hers encounters her in the park. His name is Gordon, a kind and polite man who works hard to make his career a success despite the racial adversities of the time.

As the relationship between Selina and Gordon blossoms, they begin to fill the voids in each other's lives. Gordon becomes Selina's eyes, teaching her about the world around her, while Selina offers Gordon a refuge from the racial struggles and tensions he faces day to day. However, the happiness of this unusual connection is constantly threatened by the oppressive figure of Selina's mother, who fiercely opposes interracial friendships. The film explores themes of love, identity, and the struggle for acceptance. Through their bond, both characters discover the strength found in diversity and the importance of looking beyond appearances, paving the way for a more hopeful future.
