Peace on Earth

In a war-torn world, two adorable sparrows living in a tranquil tree find themselves at a crossroads when a group of small birds arrives with alarming news about the conflict ravaging their home. Once they learn the truth about the war and what is happening to their brethren as they are captured by hunters, they decide they must act. One of the sparrows, with his optimistic spirit, tries to convince his friend that peace is possible, but the other, more pragmatic, feels skeptical and lost.

As they explore the forest, the two sparrows witness the devastation that war has brought to their world. However, the journey not only exposes them to the horror of conflict but also gives them the opportunity to reflect on the true values of life and unity. Through an emotional and powerful narrative, the black-and-white animation sweetly contrasts with the grim message, highlighting the fragility of peace. With an often nostalgic tone, this fable prompts the audience to question the violence and dehumanization that war entails, and whether it is truly possible to learn from the mistakes of the past in a world that often seems trapped in an endless cycle of conflict. The story becomes a hymn to hope, showing that even in the darkest circumstances, the pursuit of peace should never be abandoned.
