In a dark and ominous Paris of the late 19th century, residents are terrified by a series of brutal murders that have shaken the Rue Morgue neighborhood. The police are baffled, as the victims appear flayed and show signs of a fierce struggle. Amid the chaos, the famous private detective Dupin is drawn into the investigation after receiving a cryptic message suggesting that the murders are linked to a disturbing creature.

As Dupin plunges his mind into the mystery, he encounters a group of eccentric characters, from a renowned forensic doctor to a terrified young woman who may hold vital clues about the killer. The complexity of the case increases when it is revealed that a strange creature may be involved, a being that seems to be beyond human comprehension.

With his wit and deductive skills, Dupin must confront his own demons and unravel the enigma while the shadows loom ever closer. The tension becomes palpable as the resolution approaches, leading Dupin to a chilling confrontation that will unleash the true horror behind the crimes. In this thrilling mix of suspense and terror, the line between reason and madness blurs, putting both mind and spirit to the test in this hunt for the most ruthless killer Paris has ever known.
