In a world filled with conventions, a young bourgeois named Ferdinand feels trapped in a monotonous and passionless life. Bored with his existence and the suffocating marriage, he decides to escape his routine. In his quest for freedom, he reunites with Marianne, an enigmatic and free-spirited young woman whose indomitable spirit captivates him instantly. Together, they embark on an adventure down lonely roads, carrying a briefcase full of stolen money and an intense emotional connection.

However, their life of love and madness is not easy. As the couple traverses arid and dazzling landscapes, they find themselves caught up in a series of unexpected and dangerous encounters, ranging from comedy to more noir drama. What begins as a romantic getaway turns into a deadly game with the law and with Ferdinand's past demons.

As their paths intertwine in a whirlwind of passion and ethical dilemmas, Ferdinand's mental state deteriorates. The line between reality and madness blurs, taking the viewer on a visually poetic and philosophical journey. With dialogues that seem plucked from a dream and a vibrant, surreal aesthetic, the narrative explores the search for authenticity and the desire to break free from the chains of society. It is a film that invites you to question how far you would go for love and freedom, leaving an indelible mark on the viewer.
