In a small workshop in 19th century Italy, a carpenter named Geppetto is a lonely man who dreams of having a son. One day, while carving a piece of wood, he creates a puppet that surprisingly comes to life. Naming it Pinocchio, Geppetto realizes that this wooden creature has an insatiable curiosity for the human world and a pure heart, but also a tendency to get into trouble.
Pinocchio embarks on a series of exciting adventures, encountering a duo of colorful characters: the cunning fox and the lying cat, who try to lead him down the path of dishonesty. As he strays further from his father, the little wooden boy faces the consequences of his decisions, but he always aspires to be a real boy, which leads him to question his own identity and the values that truly matter.
The story takes a poignant turn when a magical fairy appears in his life, promising him that if he shows courage and sincerity, he will become a human boy. As he faces tests of character, Pinocchio learns about responsibility, friendship, and the importance of telling the truth. Throughout his journey, the relationship between him and Geppetto deepens, showing that paternal love can overcome any obstacle, even the distance between the real and the imaginary.
