The Plague Dogs

In an England marked by war and desolation, two hunting dogs, Snitter and Rowf, escape from a lab where they have been subjected to cruel experiments. Snitter, with a head injury and fragmented memories, still clings to the idea of a lost home, while Rowf, a rougher and more traumatized dog, seeks to survive in a hostile world. The atmosphere becomes oppressive as they discover that the outside world is as threatening as the lab they left behind.

As the two friends bond, they face constant dangers, from hunters to the growing hostility of humans who see the dogs as wild beasts. In their journey, Snitter begins to have visions and becomes obsessed with the idea of a "Heaven" where they might finally find peace. However, reality is harsher, and their friendship is tested at every turn. As tales of their adventures start to spread, rumors of a canine plague arise, leading to a hunt being unleashed.

With a narrative full of emotion, the story explores the connection between living beings and the brutality of human experimentation. The dogs, in their struggle for freedom, become symbols of resistance, love, and the search for belonging in a world that seems to have turned its back on them. Ultimately, their fight for survival transforms into a matter of loyalty and sacrifice.
