In an elegant New York apartment, two couples caught in a whirlwind of emotions and misunderstandings find themselves entwined in a web of love and heartbreak. Amanda and Elyot, an ex-husband and ex-wife who have never managed to move on from their passionate yet tumultuous relationship, unexpectedly reunite during their honeymoon with their new spouses. Despite their efforts to turn the page, the spark between them reignites instantly, making it clear that old feelings haven't disappeared.

Their current partners, Victor and Sibyl, unaware of the past, soon discover that their spouses' emotions are more complicated than they seemed. In a series of witty dialogues and comedic situations, the tension escalates, leading them into a game of love and jealousy that reveals the intricate dynamics of modern relationships. The film blends humor with an exploration of human nature, and as old rivalries resurface, chaos takes over life in the sophisticated apartment.

With an elegant visual style and a script filled with cleverness, the story unravels the confusion of human connections, questioning the extent to which past relationships can influence the present. In the end, love turns out to be a complex and erratic game, where the true answer about happiness seems to lie beyond a simple choice between two paths.
