A group of teenage friends, led by the clever but somewhat clumsy David Raskin, discovers an ancient project of their late father: a time machine. At first, the idea of time travel seems like a dream come true. Together, they decide to use the machine to fix small mistakes in their lives and enjoy epic moments, like attending incredible parties and avoiding embarrassing situations. However, as they make more trips to the past, things begin to spiral out of control.
The kids soon realize that every small change in the timeline has unexpected and often disastrous consequences. The excitement turns into chaos when their alterations affect not only their lives but also those of their loved ones. What initially seemed like a fun adventure transforms into a nightmare, and the pressure to keep secrets and maintain control over time increases.
With friendship at stake and reality crumbling around them, David and his group must face the consequences of their decisions and fight to restore balance. The lines between right and wrong blur as they try to undo the havoc they have wreaked. In the end, they will be forced to confront a troubling question: is it really worth playing with time, or are there moments that are meant to remain as they are?
