The Quiet

In a quiet and seemingly perfect suburban house, the life of a young deaf girl moving in with her adoptive family takes a dark turn. Gifted with an incredible sense of perception, the protagonist uncovers more than she would like about the hidden secrets of her new home. As she attempts to adapt to her new life, she becomes an unwitting witness to the tensions that exist between the members of this seemingly happy family. The biological daughter, a popular and manipulative teenager, quickly comes to see the newcomer as a threat to her status in the household.

As the interactions between the two girls evolve, a complex power dynamic unfolds, where the protagonist's deafness becomes both an advantage and a disadvantage. The atmosphere grows increasingly unsettling as dark family secrets begin to surface, including the untold history of the adoptive mother's past. Using her silent wisdom, the protagonist tries to navigate this emotional labyrinth, confronting the violence and manipulation that surrounds her.

The tension escalates with each revelation, leading to a shocking confrontation that will change their lives forever. In this psychological thriller, silence speaks louder than a thousand words and the cries of the soul are more powerful than any noise. The story explores the complexities of family, betrayal, and the struggle for personal freedom in a world that often does not listen.
