Rabbit Hole

In a world where pain mingles with hope, the lives of Becca and Howie—a couple grappling with the painful reality of losing their four-year-old son—teeter on a delicate balance. Everything seems to crumble around them as they try to navigate their grief and the different ways each of them copes with the tragedy. Becca, portrayed with heart-wrenching intensity, seeks a way to move forward; her pragmatic and sometimes cold approach contrasts with Howie's more palpable sadness, as he clings to their son's memory, seeking refuge in the past.

Encounters with other characters, such as the mother of the young man responsible for the accident and a quirky teenager who shares an unexpected bond with their loss, complicate the healing process even further. With every interaction, the ghosts of the past are reignited, and emotions swing between anger, pain, and moments of dark humor. The story explores how love can become oppressive and the struggle between living in memory or breaking free to find a new beginning.

As days turn into weeks and weeks into months, Becca and Howie are forced to confront not only their sadness but also their mutual connection. Amidst the despair, there are glimpses of light that suggest that, perhaps, life goes on in unexpected ways, and that hope can resurface even from the darkest abyss.
