In a small French village, the daily routine is abruptly interrupted when a mysterious and feared being begins to sow panic among its inhabitants. As rumors spread, the members of the community, trapped in their own fear, quickly shift from being acquaintances to enemies, unleashing a series of chaotic events that reveal the hidden tensions that had always coexisted among them.

The protagonist, a journalist seeking the truth, decides to investigate the origin of the threat. With a group of locals who still trust him, they begin to unearth secrets and betrayals that have endured for years. However, paranoia not only takes hold of them but also puts their own humanity to the test as they struggle to discern between what is real and the fabrication of their collective fears.

The atmosphere grows increasingly oppressive as interactions among the characters become more hostile and distrustful. Violence erupts, fueled by panic and a lack of communication. With unsettling cinematography and a script that challenges the conventions of the genre, the film strips bare the fragility of human relationships and the devastating impact that fear has on the collective psyche.

The plot culminates in an explosive climax where each character must confront their own demons, questioning how far they are willing to go when survival is at stake.
