In the midst of a war conflict in Yemen, a highly respected commander, played by Tommy Lee Jones, faces a moral dilemma that will test his ethics and leadership. During the rescue of a group of American diplomats trapped in an embassy, chaos and violence erupt, and at a critical moment, the commander makes a decision that results in the death of civilians. This act ignites a fierce controversy that leads to him being judged by a military court.

Meanwhile, his defense attorney, portrayed by a young Samuel L. Jackson, delves into a labyrinth of secrets and betrayals in an attempt to prove that his client acted in self-defense and for the greater good. Against the backdrop of a military world where the rules are not always clear, the lawyer must navigate dangerous terrain, facing not only legal adversaries but also the ghosts of the past that threaten to undermine his own credibility.

As the trial unfolds, shocking truths are revealed, and the very concept of "honor" in wartime is called into question. Tension builds with each testimony, prompting the audience to reflect on the complexity of morality in extreme situations. With a powerful cast and an immersive narrative, the story challenges us to question whether there really are rules when it comes to saving lives amid the chaos of conflict.
